If you've uploaded your website through FTP but are unable to view it on the internet, firstly ensure that you have uploaded all of the files to the public_html directory within the FTP client. Only files within this directory will be visible through your domain name.

Also, ensure that you have an index page created, which will act as the default page. The filename must be in lower case, and can be index.php, index.html, or index.htm.

Finally, ensure that your domain name is delegated (pointing) to the server you're uploading to. Keep in mind that if you have recently changed the domain's name servers, it can take up to 48 hours for the DNS to update to the new server.
